1. What We Don't Collect
Labxio Lite is built with a fundamental principle: *your privacy comes first*. This means we are designed to operate without needing to collect your personal data. We want to be unequivocally clear:
- We *do not* collect, store, or transmit any *personal information* such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or any other identifying details.
- We *do not* collect or store any of your sensitive *lab results or health data*. This information remains solely on your device.
- We *do not* track or collect any *device identifiers* that could be linked back to you.
- We *do not* collect any *location data*.
- We *do not* use analytics tools that track your individual usage patterns within the app.
2. Local Data Processing
One of the core features that ensures your privacy is our *local processing model*. When you use Labxio Lite to analyze lab results, all computational analysis is performed *entirely on your device*. This means:
- *No data is ever sent to any of our servers or external services* for processing.
- This design ensures *complete data confidentiality*. Your health information never leaves your device.
- Some features, such as optical character recognition (OCR) and lab report scanning, may require an internet connection to load certain open-source client-side libraries via a Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). However, all data analysis is still performed locally on your device. No personal data is transmitted during this process.
- *Photo/Image Processing:* When you take pictures or upload photos of lab reports, these images are processed temporarily on your device for text extraction only. *Images are not stored* - neither locally nor on any servers - and are discarded immediately after processing.
3. Data Storage & Deletion
Labxio Lite continues to operate with a **local-only data model**:
- Any lab results or health data you analyze are processed *entirely on your device*.
- We do not upload, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers.
- Images used for OCR (scanning lab reports) are processed temporarily on your device and discarded immediately after use.
If you uninstall Labxio Lite or clear its app data, all locally stored information (like settings or analysis history) will be permanently deleted. We do not keep backups.
4. Advertising & Third-Party Services
Labxio Lite is supported by advertisements. To deliver these ads, we use **Google AdMob** and **Google Play Services**.
-
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): AdMob may collect non-personal information such as your device's *Advertising ID*, approximate location, and other non-identifying usage data. This information helps deliver relevant ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud.
- You can reset or limit the use of your Advertising ID through your device's system settings.
- Ads shown in Labxio Lite may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your device preferences.
- Google Play Services: Required to support ad delivery and core app functionality.
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs): Used to load open-source client-side libraries for PDF rendering and optical character recognition (OCR). No personal or health data is transmitted during this process.
We do not share any personally identifying information with advertisers.
